This last stage is a dream landscape. If you combine the complete Carnic trail in one day, one could do so on the basis of today's stage. It starts with beautiful view points located on the north of the Alps are massive. We will first pass through a high-Mohr, find us, and now you can meet, a small herd of cows. It's now down to a valley, past several cheese pastures, where you could spend the night. Here slopes are gentle again, but this time the view is to the south, the Alps Massive Italy.
After a not too difficult climb to the Käseweg we reach the ridge. Again, follow the border between Austria and Italy. It first traverses a beautiful field of flowers that bloom on the many orchids. Then we go around to the south curtain wall and Hüttenkofel first, then the Trogkofel. Here you cross a boulder field and looks down upon a valley that looks as if the elves live here from the Lord of the Rings. However, we are here not as isolated as in the days before. For as we let the Trogkofel behind us, we already look down on the wet field, with its many ski lifts. A final with a bit of climbing to the associated rise Madritsche is that still lie ahead, we have achieved our goal. In total we have around 85 kilometers and 6000 meters climb behind us.
