Cruise Rooms For 3 People

Karnischer Trail - Day 5 and 6: Wolayer Lake Cottage - Valentinalm - Zollnerseehütte

More than half of the hike was now behind us. Therefore, we had a quiet day today deserves, especially since many of those who walk the trail Carnic make that day on Plöckenpass circuit. We had to overcome only a very short section to Valentinalm. In addition, there was a short climb through large snow fields down to the Valentintörl Valentinalm. We were now only at 1200 m altitude, it was observed at high heat. Ideal conditions for the whole afternoon relax and recharge for the next day.

The next morning we again go early because est was back before a long distance. We remember not hurt the rest of the day before, legs and shoulders. Again runs for the sweat. It is first through the woods to the Plöckenpass, it then follows a short flat section to a small lake, then begins the arduous part of the day: it's back uphill, and very steep. But it's worth it. This section of the scenic alpine path differs significantly from the previous days. It is not quite so harsh, we get to run-down and still managed by pastures and walk through blooming meadows. It is a pleasant descent to Pramosioweg which goes around on a slope along a valley. We walk tall grasses and shrubs. At the bottom you can see one or the other snake. The last short climb of the day we go as fast as we can, as it is flat run we did, because a storm is approaching. Just in time for the rain we reach the Zollnerseehütte.

Two Viennese women, who were a bit late as we had less luck. They hid themselves under their bivouac bag, waited until the storm was over, and came only hours after us, exhausted and soaked in the lodge at. The Zollnerseehütte was the smallest cabin of the hike, but also because of the very friendly atmosphere and the friendly host family is the nicest place to live, we'd go.
